Kenet, Inc., Reading, MA September 2002 – Present
Software Engineer, CAD/EDA
· Provided a smooth design and operating environment by developing and supporting complex Computer
Aided Design (CAD) software on Linux and Solaris environments. Used Java, C++, and Lisp-based Skill
scripts for development and customization
· Led physical design efforts and completed more than 20 tapeouts of mixed signal chips in three years
· Saved a critical week or more before each tapeout by automating final physical verification tasks using Perl
scripts
· Developed boot loader and I2C communication interface for embedded 8051 processor using C
· Developed a clock tree generator with Verilog parser using C++. The program has been successfully used
to generate clock tree for a real-life microprocessor
· Developed an analog layout construction program (using C++) to generate layouts for complex physical
devices. The program has been used to generate CCD structures forming the core of Kenet’s Analog to
Digital Converters

· Developed a real-time statistical analysis system receiving partial NASDAQ orders through TCP/IP sockets,
running analytical calculations with a multi-threaded C++ program and storing results in MySQL database.
Designed the overall architecture and successfully implemented the early access release in less than two
months
· Setup and administered Red Hat Linux server running MySQL, Tomcat Application Server and the custom
multi-threaded application

· Developed web-based document storage, and electronic signature system with Java (JSPs, servlets) and
Perl (CGI) connecting to IBM DB2 database using JDBC and Perl DBI

automated user support tool through which designers and CAD engineers interacted and built a
knowledge database
