Bulut F. Ersavaş
I
graduated from Middle
East Technical University (METU, Ankara, Turkey) Electrical and Electronics
Engineering Department in 1999. I got my master’s degree in Electrical
Engineering from Northeastern University (Boston, MA, USA) in 2003. After graduating from
METU, I worked for Gantek Computer (Istanbul, Turkey) as a pre-sales engineer and for
IBM (Boston) as a CAD and systems engineer.
Since 2002, I have been working for Kenet, Inc, which is a fabless integrated
circuit design company located in Reading, MA, as a software engineer.

During my
undergraduate studies, I was the chairman of IEEE METU Student Branch for two
consecutive years. In 1998, while I was the chairman, the branch organized many
succesful activities and received the IEEE Outstanding Student Branch Award.
Activities included; orginizing “Education with Informatics” Conference and
Exhibition, which is still a continuing annual event, and creating/publishing
“Biltek Magazin”, which is a technology newsletter.
